Yung Lean at Sónar Festival 2016

When only 20 years old, Yung Lean, the leader of the Sad Boys collective, demonstrated from the outset wide freedom with the codes of hip-hop and imposed his strong personality, open to a host of influences. After a year of rest and reflection (his only creation was “Crystal Clear Ice” on Adult Swim and a remix), he released a new album in February 2016, “Warlord”, already hailed as a work brimming with hits. Today, Yung Lean is boosting his bass, sharpening his rhythms (closer to techno) and rapping in a more open way, while preserving those melancholic and emotional touches that characterize his earlier works.
