In the north of Morocco the coastline is defined by the Strait of Gibraltar, an area that is highly strategic, highly dangerous and highly trafficked.
To the west of Tangiers, there’s the Atlantic whose waves and swell pound the cliffs of dunes that run right down to the border with Mauritania. To the east lies the Mediterranean coast with its Spanish enclaves, remnants of a bygone era.
