Every year, at the end of the year, all over France, salmonids migrate to their spawning grounds to reproduce. For brown trout and salmon, it's the beginning of the mating season. This cycle of life, an ancestral ritual dating back hundreds of thousands of years, is still astonishing. The proximity of the trout, so difficult to observe ordinarily, is made possible by the excitement that accompanies this singular period.
