Seen from the sky, going north to south, Baja California reveals an unexpected face of Mexico: nature that is wild and untouched, endless beaches of fine sand, a succession of blue water inlets and lagoons, vast tracts of desert punctuated by giant cacti, rugged sierras, dizzying canyons…
Baja California stretches its long, 1300-kilometer length between two seas. To the east lies the Sea of Cortez with its natural treasures from around Bahia de Los Angeles as far as San Felipe.
To the west are the waves and rollers of the Pacific Ocean, paradise of the grey whale.
From Tijuana to Ensenada, from Guerrero Negro to Bahia de Los Angeles, by way of the highest mountains on the peninsula, this is an aerial journey over a California that is too Mexican to be American, a California that is wild and authentic.
