In recent years, the English hills of Kent and Sussex have become covered with grapevines. The English have decided to grow champagne grape varieties for the production of a high-end sparkling wine: the English quality sparkling wine.
This wine has become a huge success, so much so that the royal family decided to produce its own. Benefiting from increasingly hot temperatures and a chalky terroir similar to those found in Champagne, it intends to compete with the best French champagnes. Today, nothing seems to stand in the way of its irresistible rise.
