We discover Moorea through the eyes of Hinano Murphy, an inhabitant of the sister-island. Even though Moorea is well connected to the present, with its two International Research Centers, the island has managed to protect its authenticity. Hinano offers to show us some aspects of her background, her legends, as well as what she has been doing for the younger generations. Within the framework of the Research Association of Berkely-Gump University, and thanks to the members of her association, Tepu a’titi’a, she regularly receives students to have them experience the beauty themselves - but also the fragility, of an island like Moorea…
